"Redefining reprocessing through customer service"
Hygia Health Services, Inc. (Hygia) is an FDA-registered contract reprocessor of non-critical and semi-critical medical devices. Through client partnerships with participating healthcare institutions, Hygia promotes and manages the responsible reuse of dozens of eligible devices formerly considered "single-use only." Hygia's unique practices and protocols have proven to yield predictable, quantifiable cost-avoidance benefits for partner institutions.
The company is named for Hygia, the classical Greek Goddess of Health, who was said to have regenerative powers. A touch from her hand restored vigor and youthful appearance and her mere presence reanimated the surrounding environment. Hygia Health Services produces similarly dramatic benefits with respect to targeted medical devices resulting in quantifiable, hard-dollar savings for client hospitals.
A minority-owned company, Hygia is best defined by a commitment to a high level of client service provided by a skilled and thoroughly trained associate staff. Exceptional attention to client needs is detailed in Hygia's unique Institution Protocols. These protocols clearly define all practices from unit-level recovery of soiled devices through re-delivery of reprocessed devices and ensure predictable and demonstrable savings. Hygia maintains complete control of all aspects of the reprocessing protocol in order to manage the program to its greatest economic potential within complete regulatory compliance. No outsourcing of services is permitted.
